About Sleep Calculator
Simple, free sleep tools for India, built on published sleep research and honest about their limits.
Why we built this
Most sleep tools online are written for an American day: an early dinner, a short drive to work, a quiet suburban bedroom. Indian days look different. School buses before 7, local trains and long commutes, dinners at 9:30 or later, joint families, night shifts serving other time zones, and summers that never cool down. We wanted sleep tools that start from those realities.
What you'll find here
- A sleep calculator that times bedtimes and alarms around 90 minute sleep cycles.
- Tools for naps, sleep debt, night shifts, baby sleep, Brahma Muhurta and caffeine.
- Plain-language guides on sleep, with Indian examples.
How we work
- Research first. Our numbers come from published guidance, including the US National Sleep Foundation and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, and from peer-reviewed studies. Where we cite surveys about Indian sleep habits, we link to them.
- Honest about averages. A sleep cycle of 90 minutes is an average. We say so, and we let you adjust it.
- Your data stays with you. Every calculation runs in your browser. We don't ask for an account and we don't store what you type.
- Not a doctor. These tools help you plan. They don't diagnose. If something feels wrong with your sleep, see a doctor.
